Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Solace Studios (“we”, “us”) for using Narration Studio ’27 (“the software”) and this website. By installing the software or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. Who sells the software

Solace Studios sells the software directly. Payments are processed by PayPal, and PayPal’s own user agreement covers your payment. For anything about your subscription, contact us at support@narrationstudio.net.

2. Subscriptions and the free trial

• The software is sold as a subscription, billed monthly ($9.99) or yearly ($99) through PayPal, plus any sales tax that applies.
• New users can try every feature free for 7 days. You won’t be charged unless you choose to subscribe.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account or by emailing us, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• If we change the price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.

3. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 30 days of any payment, with no questions asked. See our refund policy.

4. Your license

While your trial or subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for your own narration and audio work, including paid commercial work. You may not resell, rent, share license keys, or reverse-engineer the software except where the law allows it.

5. Your work belongs to you

Everything you record, edit and export with the software, including audiobooks you sell or deliver to clients, belongs to you or to whoever you’ve agreed it belongs to. We claim no rights in it. Your recordings and projects are stored on your own computer, not with us.

6. Platform requirements

Mastering presets and compliance checks are based on the published specifications of platforms such as ACX, Spotify and Penguin Random House. Those platforms can change their requirements and also review performance and content, so we can’t guarantee that a platform will accept your files. Please check each platform’s current requirements before delivery.

7. Updates and availability

Updates are included while your subscription is active. We may add, change or remove features over time. We aim for the software to work well, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. Keep your own backups of important work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using the software at any time. We may suspend a license that’s being misused, for example shared keys or chargeback fraud. If we ever stop selling the software, we’ll refund the unused part of any yearly subscription.
